Dear Participants, Spectators and Volunteers,
It is with regret to inform you that we have decided to postpone this year’s Florida Citrus Cup event.
We are convinced that the lineup of events we had scheduled would have yielded a spectacular event, as usual. The major concern we have, as well as those associated with planning, and those attending this event, is the Global Economic Conditions. In light of the economic anxiety many are beginning to experience, opening Florida Citrus Cup at this time will place a financial burden on many loyal attendees. This event is without question a victim of this economic crisis and from speaking with others apparently not the only venue lost this year.
The last thing we want to do is to make this event a losing proposition for everyone and therefore we have decided to postpone and are looking forward to the Florida Citrus Cup 2010. We hope you will see that this is a good decision for all, and again express our gratitude for all of you who stepped up to be a part of the Florida Citrus Cup.
